President

Brian Franklin has provided independent marketing, new media, creative strategy, creative direction, and writing services to over a hundred corporations, agencies, organizations, and political campaigns. His 2010 clients include Anthony Hardy Williams for PA Governor Campaign, Congressman Ted Deutch, Congressman Ron Klein, Pew Charitable Trusts, Marliene Bastien for Congress, Bill Hedrick for Congress, Scott Maddox for FL Agriculture Commisioner, Marcy Winograd for Congress Campaign, FL Democratic Leader-Designate Nan Rich, Farouk Shami for Texas Governor, Fmr. State Senator and County Commission candidate Steve Geller. Recently, he served as the Communications Director for the campaign of Congressman Robert Wexler (D-FL) - for whom he developed and managed a Pollie award-winning advertising and outreach campaign (Wexler Wants Hearings). Brian also provides consulting services, writing, and strategy to Rep. Kevin Rader (candidate for State Senate), Lori Berman (candidate for State House), Laurie Rich Levinson (candidate for Broward County School Board), Rep. Alan Grayson, and the Florida Democratic Party. Earlier in 2009, Brian served as a strategic advisor for the early stages of a rebuilding/rebranding initiative by the Australian Democrats, a national third party.

In the last cycle, Brian managed fundraising and marketing strategy for the Broward Democratic Party, which included the creation of two award winning television spots. Recent clients also include Florida State Senator (D-Dist. 30), Dave Aronberg (D-Dist. 27), Floridians for Accountability, Broward County Mayor Stacy Ritter, the Federation of Public Employees, Chris Chiari, a candidate for Florida State House, and others within the United States. He served as a personal advisor to Florida State Representative Martin David Kiar during the 2004 and 2006 election cycles, assisting with research and positioning strategy.

Brian's past non-profit work includes writing, creative direction, and/or marketing strategy for clients such as The Salvation Army, Children's Place of HomeSafe, Broward Partnership for the Homeless, Miami Economic Opportunity Family Health Center, The Future of Music Coalition, and Leadership Miami. He has written the initial business plans for high-growth start-up corporations such as Mobile Storm, Verdant Technologies, as well as guided the marketing strategy of Aerin Rose Swimwear and Ryan Arciero/Arciero Racing. Additionally, he worked on advertising and/or marketing strategy for clients such as The Miami Herald, IBM, Citrix, Toyota, Andrx, Port Everglades, and Locast.

Rafael Hernandez joined Impact Politics in 2009 as an account executive and is proving to be a a talented new media/marketing strategist, specializing in Search Advertising and online campaign analysis. Rafael is a graduate from the University of Florida with a degree in sociology and minor in business. During his college years, Rafael helped grow the franchise efforts of an emerging wine-sampling distributor business, Cavas.

Russ Rogers

Chief Technical Officer

Russ Rogers is an experienced technical advisor and software developer, having managed websites, web-interfaces, backend software and design for dozens of clients and agencies. Additionally, he has provided background music, scoring, and sound effects for websites and flash-animation projects. Beyond his work at Impact Politics, he has designed, developed, and/or managed websites and software for companies such as Aerin Rose Swimwear, Arciero Racing, Aquavac, BFW Advertising, Greek Central, Radbody Fitness, and Storis.
